Our family run guest house is located in the suburbs of the city of Wakefield. Within easy reach of the city centre and with easy access to the motorway network, we are ideally placed as a base for those visiting the attractions of the area.
We have operated our delightful friendly and family oriented hotel for over twenty years. The property consists of three 19th century houses that have been lovingly converted and extended to provide 17 well proportioned and superbly comfortable bedrooms. All of our rooms have satellite TV, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities, some benefiting from ground floor access. We also have ample, floodlit private parking.
In our comfortably furnished bar you can enjoy an aperitif, or just sit and relax with a drink from the bar as you plan your excursions for the next day. There is also a tasty selection of evening meals to choose from, served in quiet and relaxed surroundings.
Ideally placed for those who want to experience the magnificent scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, or the many interesting attractions such as the Royal Armouries museum; The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television and Holmfirth, the home of the TV program 'Last of the Summer Wine', plus for race fans Wetherby, York and Pontefract race courses are just a few of the attractions that are within easy driving distance.
