When the current owner took over this wonderful establishment in 2002 he was fulfilling a life long dream to move to this beautiful part of the country. In purchasing Patel Bridge's oldest listed building he took on quite a responsibility and it took all of his considerable experience to renovate and refurbish the building in a style that would enhance its features and retain its unique character. When all that was done he renamed it the Talbot and the rest, as they say, is history.
When our guests arrive they are met by the owner or one of their pleasant and friendly staff. The welcome and hospitality is genuinely warm and often likened to staying with friends rather than booking into a commercial establishment. With just six well proportioned and well equipped single, twin and double rooms you will have everything that you need for a really enjoyable stay.
A substantial breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served each morning in our breakfast room. Although evening meals are not served there are many excellent local places to eat.
