Beautiful thatched cottage dating back over 300 years, we are situated in the heart of the Mendips - wonderful for those wishing to take full advantage of nature walks, photography and climbing. We offer good quality accommodation with high standards and a contemporary open plan bar where you can enjoy relaxed drinks in the evenings. Elegant and stylish with wooden flooring, oak beams and subtle decor.

We feature paintings by Andrew Hennan - a local artist who is quite well known now. Restaurant seating for up to 52 people so if you wish to have a special family gathering we can accommodate.

Pleasant evenings spent in front of the fireplace where you can watch the flames and while away the hours chatting and relaxing.

There are a number of attractions close by including the fabulous Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar caves and gorge and the Crealy Adventure Park. Head in to Bristol and take the family to the Zoo - its one of the best in the country, housing so much more than the usual wild animals, care is taken over conserving endangered species and there's a fabulous aquarium, seal and penguin area and Bug world - amazing and really interesting for all ages.
