Our unique hotel is split between two magnificent buildings, Waterton Park is situated on the mainland in the grounds of Walton Hall. Walton Hall is an impressive Georgian Mansion that stands on its own secluded island, reached by a bridge and surrounded by 26 acres of lake.
We offer the highest standard of accommodation, split between the two buildings, that are richly decorated, sumptuously furnished and supremely comfortable. All of the rooms offer the very finest of refinements, including a four-poster suite for those special occasions and the incurable romantics amongst us.
In our Bridgewalk Restaurant you will find the very finest cuisine, all freshly created by our top chef, perfectly presented and served to your table by our experienced staff. All you need to do to complete the perfect dinning experience is to select a perfect bottle of wine from our well stocked cellar, or if you prefer, our knowledgeable staff will recommend one for you.
For those planning a wedding, we can assist you in planning your big day, we can provide the perfect setting for your Civil Marriage ceremony, for which we are licensed, and we can cater for your reception with a selection of excellent menus.
We also have an excellent range of meeting and conference rooms for our business clients, and with a dedicated support centre and experienced staff we can accommodate intimate, confidential meetings or conferences for up to 150 delegates.

Good stuff: Surroundings were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.

Bad stuff: The bed wasn't very comfortable with itchy blankets. It felt strange having to walk past the wedding party to use the leisure facilities. They should be in a different part of the hotel. There were used tissues left in the bed which we had to dispose of. Aside from that, the room was very clean.

Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: I would like to have known more about access to the leisure facilities. The website boasts that they are excellent, where as the pool is very small, the gym is even smaller and so are the changing rooms and all the floors were wet. I would not pay as a private member. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The area as a whole is lovely and the golf course looks very good. The beds are not that comfortable and the bedding needs updating as it was cold during the night. All other faciltiies in the room were very good. The food at the hotel was lovely, although a little overpriced.
