Lovely location, set in the heart of the Lake District the charming village of Windermere. We are centrally located and close to the main amenities. Placed in a quiet street and set in a typical Victorian house. Just a 5 minute walk from the railway station.

A warm welcome awaits all our guests as you arrive and get settled in. We have 4 select and cosy ensuite rooms on offer - all fully equipped and having modern day amenities. Pretty decor and design with firm and comfortable beds for that guaranteed good night's sleep. Complimentary tea and coffee and a TV. Accepting couples only which makes it the ideal choice for that quiet and romantic break away from it all.

Once you have rested and are ready to explore a little you will find the charming village of Windermere filled with pretty shops, charity shops, book stores, newsagents, estate agents, a delicatessen, supermarket and gift stores. Coffee shops for that coffee and conversation break and then a pleasant walk up to Orrest Head will give you that wonderful view over the entire Lake Windermere.

Heading down towards Bowness - just a mile away, you will find many more shops - designer, outdoor wear, jewellers, gemstones, gifts, chocolates, the world of Beatrix Potter and much more. There are many more cafe bars and international restaurants. Evenings are packed with choices - pubs playing live music, cinema and a club down by the lake.

Visit the Aquarium, boat museum and take a cruise along the lake.

Good stuff: Proximity to the station and Orrest Head.

Bad stuff: Water supply was poor in the shower which is definitely bad.
