A traditional and welcoming Establishment, just a short drive away from Taunton and sitting on the edge of the Exmoor Hills. Ideal for both leisure travellers and business people. Near completion our 16 rooms will all offer ensuite facilities and newly refurbished.

There's something for everyone in these parts - sporting types take to the hills and enjoy walking, photography and simply being at one with nature. Popular with cyclists who get to keep fit and see the wonderful scenery all in one go. Fancy something a little more sedate then there are plenty of golf courses to choose from. Taunton is the closest big town and there's plenty to see and discover there. Visit the Somerset County Museum where you will find a super collection of toys. Somerset Cricket Museum has some fine memorabilia for fans of the sport. The town has the famous and rather magnificent Church of St Mary Magdelene towering some 163 feet high.

A cultural centre there's an abundance of art centres, theatres and super entertainment and exhibitions for all the family.

Shopping is fun and plentiful - visit the Old Market Centre, Courtyard and browse around the vast number of antique shops where you might just find that rare piece or one off find.

Good stuff: The hotel was clean food good and the staff couldn't do enough to help you.

Bad stuff: the hike up all the stairs to your room.
