Museums house most of these artifacts but buildings stonework and ancient footpaths still exist for you to discover. This ancient market town is now mainly a residential area. With little doubt the most splendid of places to visit while staying here would be Dunham Massey Hall Park and Garden. A national trust property built in the 18th century it is within a 200 acre deer park. There is within this a 25 acre garden with splendidly old trees that you can almost hear talking to yu when they sway in the wind. The house itself has a fine collections of furniture, silverware and paintings for you to enjoy.
