seamlessly, and nowhere is this more evident than on the Brayford
Waterfront. This sparkling area of town on the banks of the Witham River is
populated by lush greenery and modern sculptures, all under the watchful
gaze of the magnificent cathedral. Plenty of entertainment is on offer here,
such as the nine screen cinema and the top restaurants and bars. You can
also take a cruise down the river aboard a double-decker boat and watch the
city go by, as you learn all about its history drifting along the water. The
city is served by six main roads heading in from all directions, the most
commonly used being the A46 off of the A1. Train services run from key
cities such as Nottingham and Sheffield, as well as every half an hour from
Newark, which connects to other major destinations including London and
