From our location the historic Barbican and the famous harbour front, where in 1620 the ship the Mayflower, carrying the Pilgrim Fathers, set sail on its epic, sixty-six day journey to the New World, its was also where Drake's fleet set sail to battle the invading Spanish Armada. But the city is not just an ancient monument, it is also a lively, cosmopolitan city with excellent nightlife, theatres, museums and shopping.
