Close by there are numerous attractions, sites, delights and places to explore and discover. The town of Tring is a few miles and this is home to the Zoological Museum. Chiltern Open Air Museum is a few minutes drive away, Hughenden Manor and the main town of High Wycombe where much business is based.

Drop down towards Slough and you will find a good choice in leisure pursuits with cinema, and ice skating rink, in door tennis. Around and about some of the parks worth visiting include - Black Park, Upton Court Park, Burnham Beeches and Langley Park.

A little further down and you have easy access to Heathrow if you are off to those faraway places. Windsor Castle and Lego Land are close by and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy days at the races at Windsor, Ascot and Newbury where there are regular meets - perfect day out with friends and associates.

Easy access in and out of London for that West End shopping and entertainment. Rest and relax in the peaceful village of Amersham at the end of a day of explorations.

Good stuff: Character of the room was in-keeping with the hotel. Facilities were quite suitable and clean. Breakfast in Bed was inexpensive and reasonably accurate.

Bad stuff: Reception seemed unstaffed after 10 PM. Television was poorly tuned. An example room would be a useful addition when booking online.

Overall: The room decor was in-character to the general ambience of the hotel. The room was clean and well furnished. Parking is situated at the rear (Whielden Street) and the indicating sign can be easily missed. A number of good restaurants and pubs within strolling distance. A fantastic location for a relaxing stay.
