Our warm and welcoming establishment is a splendid example of Victorian architecture and has stood opposite the town hall in Longton, a suburb of Stoke on Trent, since it was built as a coaching Inn in 1864. By that time the area was already renown for its links with the major ceramics and china manufacturers, and it reputation continued to grow. During the 19th and 20th century the area was synonymous with pottery and is now known world wide a 'The Potteries'.
With one hundred and fifty years experience of providing good food, excellent service and comfortable accommodation, we have gained an impeccable reputation for the quality of the service we provide. With 41 well proportioned and supremely comfortable single, twin, double and family rooms we offer a choice of accommodation that will suit almost every traveller. Each room has everything expected of a hotel of this class, including an elegant and stylish en-suite bathroom, with bath or shower; central heating; windows that you can open; colour TV; smoke detectors and a hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. A choice of full English or Continental breakfast is included in the price of the room.
We have a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing lounge and bar, ideal to sit in to unwind with a drink after a long day. You will also find an excellent menu of bar snacks and light meals at lunch and dinner time.

Good stuff: The hotel was fairly clean and comfortable. The staff were fairly helpful.
Bad stuff: I was under the impression that I had paid when I booked online and was not expecting to pay when I got there. Also I payed for the English breakfast which I felt was not worth the money.
