Our warm and welcoming establishment is a splendid example of Victorian architecture and has stood opposite the town hall in Longton, a suburb of Stoke on Trent, since it was built as a coaching Inn in 1864. By that time the area was already renown for its links with the major ceramics and china manufacturers, and it reputation continued to grow. During the 19th and 20th century the area was synonymous with pottery and is now known world wide a 'The Potteries'.
With one hundred and fifty years experience of providing good food, excellent service and comfortable accommodation, we have gained an impeccable reputation for the quality of the service we provide. With 41 well proportioned and supremely comfortable single, twin, double and family rooms we offer a choice of accommodation that will suit almost every traveller.
