Our location at the Woodall Service area on the M1 makes us the ideal stop over point for travellers heading south from Newcastle to London. But we are not just a convenient staging point in a journey, we are also ideally positioned for visitors who want a base from which they can travel around the region, either on business or pleasure. Places like Worksop, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Rotherham are just a short drive away and offer many interesting and exciting places to visit during your stay.
Unusually for a motorway hotel, we do not expect our guests to leave their vehicle amongst the other motorway traffic using the site, instead we have our own private parking where you will know your vehicle is safe over night.
We have used our considerable experience to make sure that all of our 38 well proportioned, stylishly decorated and wonderfully comfortable single and double rooms have everything that we know our guests want. Each double room has a comfortable double bed, plus a pull out sofa bed that allows it to be used by a family of two adults and two children, or three adults. They also have a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; central heating; windows that you can open; direct dial telephone, fax machine and direct modem link; trouser press; hairdryer; alarm clock radio; remote control colour TV with satellite channels; smoke detectors; security chain on the front door and beverage centre with tea, coffee making facilities. Non smoking rooms are available on request.
