Our small but extremely warm and welcoming establishment stands in a prestigious position on the Esplanade on Scarborough's picturesque South Bay. With panoramic views of the Bay, harbour and the historic castle, the Highlander's unique blend of traditional Yorkshire hospitality and strong Scottish tones, including an extensive private collection of Whisky bottles, creates an atmosphere that is perfect for an enjoyable and relaxed holiday.
We have just six double rooms, with a choice of twin or double beds plus a family room that has three beds. You will find all of our rooms have en-suite facilities and everything that you need to make your stay with us a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
A choice of breakfasts are served in our cosy dinning room and our popular tea room, 'The Heathers' is open daily for tea, coffee and light snacks throughout the day. On Sundays our traditional carvers is popular with our guests and the locals and it is recommended that you book early to avoid disappointment.
