The village has many wonderful shops - outdoor wear, designer wear, jewellery, gifts and a wonderful Beatrix Potter shop. There are cafe bars, international restaurants, bars, pubs and a club.
Visit the Aquarium and the Boat Museum - both close to the lake and take a walk along through the woods - it's really magical.
