 The Mill can trace its history back to 1135, now it has been sympathetically refurbished to provide superior accommodation for visitors to the area. As you dine in our wonderfully romantic restaurant you can enjoy the unique view of the cascading river Avon that runs beneath.
Our location on the banks of the River Avon, complete with picturesque riverside gardens, gives us the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend break, or a holiday spent exploring the many interesting attractions that the area has to offer.
With a history that dates back to the 12th century, it is not surprising that there is a unmistakable feeling of the history and the heritage of this fine old building. A great deal of care was taken when refurbishing the building to make sure that the original features were kept and we feel that the original oak beamed low ceilings and roaring log fires, are now enhanced by the sympathetic addition of modern facilities.
We have 11 well proportioned, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated rooms that offer all the usual fittings that you would expect from a hotel of superior quality.
The Mill Room restaurant provides a wonderfully romantic setting, with the river racing below and cascading back into the river. We serve a superb menu of freshly prepared foods, complimented by a wide choice of fine wines, that will delight even the most discerning palette.
In the cosy and richly furnished bar area, you can sample a glass of an excellent wine from our extensive cellar, or try one of our cask conditioned ales and beers in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
