Our location in the quiet residential area of Newbold, one of the most sought after parts of the town of Chesterfield, and the ideal place for visitors to make their base. Privately owned and operated their is a warm and welcoming ambiance awaiting you when you arrive.

The historic market town of Chesterfield is one of the hidden gems of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. The twisted spire of the parish church is world famous, with the top of the spire leaning almost ten feet from the vertical. The town has an excellent shopping centre, with a wide selection of stores plus the renown open air market with around two hundred market stalls to browse. Its location, surrounded by the magnificent Peak District National Park, is ideal for those who enjoy rambling through some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK.
Our impressive establishment originally started life as a pair of Victorian Semi detached houses, they have now been sympathetically and lovingly converted into our wonderfully comfortable and stylish hotel. The ambiance is warm and friendly, with each guest receiving a high level of personal service from the owner and friendly staff.
The dinning room has an unusual feature, with most the guests dinning at the one large table that dominates it. The food is always superb, and everything is freshly created by our world renown Master Chef, who uses only the finest, locally produced ingredients - the excellent food is matched perfectly by the wide selection of wines from around the world.
