There has been a settlement on the site of Chester since before the Romans invaded Britain, during their occupation it was a garrison town for Roman soldiers and there are many interesting historic sights nearby. Set just about a mile from the heart of the city and only a couple of minutes drive from the motorway, yet in a quiet and peaceful residential area, our warm and welcoming Establishment provides visitors to the area with a comfortable and convenient place to stay. In our excellent Castra Brasserie you can dine on freshly prepared and superbly tasty dishes that are created by our talented and imaginative chef. The atmosphere in the dinning room is relaxed and informal, with a separate menu for children, there is sure to be something to suit every taste.

Good stuff: The room was clean, the bathroom fine, and it was possible to open the windows for air.

Bad stuff: Your price is high for the room.

Overall: I think the person who worked the night shift was expecially helpful to us.
