Just minutes away from the Metro Centre, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe with over three hundred and fifty shops and restaurants, plus extensive leisure facilities such as a ten pin bowling alley, multi screen cinema and indoor theme park there is sure to be something to keep the family amused while you browse the shops. In the evenings there are many diverse bars, clubs, theatres and restaurants from around the world, that make the city a vibrant and exciting place to be.
We have 100 well proportioned and tastefully decorated rooms that provide all of the most modern facilities for our guests, with some rooms being designed for our less able guests, with wheelchair access, roll in shower, grab handles etc. Each twin and double room has a high level of fittings, with some rooms having a sofa bed to accommodate a family of up to four people; non smoking rooms are available on request.
All rooms have a stylish en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower; remote control colour TV with satellite channels and in-room movies; direct dial telephone with computer connection and tea/coffee making facilities.
As a stop over on your way to Scotland or as a base to explore Hadrian's Wall, Holy Island, Durham Cathedral, Beamish Open Air Museum and the unspoilt Northumberland coastline, it is unlikely that you will find a more convenient location.
