The south coast has been the favourite place for British holiday makers since the Prince Regent visited a neighbouring town in the 1780s and declared how much he enjoyed the bracing air and paddling in the sea. This started a boom in sea side holidays that has endured to the present day, except that today it is not only the British who come here. Many of the buildings in Brighton were built during those boom years and ours - a magnificent Regency town house built around 1800 - is no exception. The architecture is wonderfully elegant both outside and inside, and although there have been many alterations and improvements over the years great care has been taken to retain as much of the original charm and character of the building as possible.
Our small but extremely friendly and well equipped establishment provides our guests with a comfortable, cosy and convenient place from which they can explore the many delights that this beautiful town has to offer.
