The relax and unwind process starts before you actually reach our front door, as you driving here through the magnificent Denbighshire countryside you will feel the pressure of modern life just draining away, and as you are greeted by our warm and friendly staff you will know for certain that you have chosen the perfect location.
The first reference to the Hafod Elwy estate was made as far back in time as 1334, when it was described as '650 acres of waste land' and valued at 40 shillings. Over the almost seven hundred years the estate has shrunk a little, now it measures just over 60 acres - 60 acres of superb and picturesque Welsh countryside. For those who like the outdoor life our grounds are at your disposal, with many superb walks, wonderful fishing, excellent bird watching and as we are 400 meters above sea level you will find some spectacular and breathtaking views, with Snowdonia National Park as a back drop.
Our elegant and stately Hall provides our guests with a sumptuous level of accommodation, with just three, individually designed and superbly comfortable rooms, including a four-poster room for those eternal romantics amongst us, and stylish suite, all equipped with the modern facilities that today's travellers look for in accommodation of this obvious quality - plus much, much more.
Our elegant dinning room is located in the oldest part of the house, and our guests dine at our 17th century carved oak table, where they can enjoy the exquisite dishes that are created for them by our talented chef.
We know that you will enjoy your time with us, and that the only regrets you will have is when it is time to wave us goodbye.
