 Scot House is located in the splendid little town of Kingussie, near the Cairngorm National Park. We are in the perfect location for your trip to the Highlands.
A privately run small hotel that is a renovated Victorian building. Situated close to the town centre of Kingussie and with easy access to local amenities and the natural beauty of the National Park that surrounds us. When we say surrounded, we really mean it. The Highlands of Scotland have some of the most fantastic mountain ranges in the British Isles. To the North West there are Monadhliath Mountains, to the South the Grampians and to the east the Cairngorms.
The hotel has a renown restaurant and a cosy bar for you to enjoy. Many of our guests enjoy a meal with us when they stay. A relaxing taste of some fine wines and whiskeys in the bar afterwards is a treat as well.
Exploring the wonders of the highlands from here is easy. There is good access via public transport to us and to the surrounding area. The many sporting activities available bring many people to the local area. Nearby, you can enjoy the vigorous nature of snow boarding and skiing. Or if you like to relax with a round of golf, there are many links close by.
