Our magnificent, historic, manor house is perfect for an away-from-it-all break in style and elegance. With our own tranquil gardens and our position in the Warwickshire countryside, in the very heart of Shakespeare country, we provide the ideal base for exploring the many delights of the area.
Our romantic Tudor Manor house stands in its own exquisite grounds in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, is a haven of peace and tranquillity that was originally built as a guest residence for Monks, who were visiting the nearby Evesham Abbey. This genuinely magnificent building, with its coach house and granary that have also been lovingly restored, is full of charm and character; from the moment you step through the doorway into oak panelled rooms and open log fires, you can almost imagine how it would feel to step back in time.
Great care and consideration has gone into retaining the original character and history of the building, whilst blending the technology and facilities that our guests now expect from their choice of accommodation, we think we have managed this splendidly. While you can dine with candlelight in an oak panelled dinning room, relax with a drink in front of a roaring log fire or sleep in a romantic four poster bed, you can also enjoy up to the minute facilities in your room, a game of tennis, a refreshing sauna or a session in the solarium.
To make sure that we provide our guests with everything they need to make their stay an enjoyable and memorable experience, all of our rooms are equipped with elegant en-suite bathroom with bath or shower and complimentary toiletries; hairdryer; central heating; mineral water; tea and coffee making facilities; mini bar; direct dial telephone and fax machine; colour TV with video recorder; smoke detectors and just in case you get too cosy in the comfortable bed you can book a wake up call to make sure you don't miss the breakfast that is included in the room price.
In our award winning Stanford restaurant offers a rare dinning experience, its oak panelled walls are hung with richly embroidered wall-hangings and a pleasant open log fire that, on cold evenings, creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere just as it would have in Tudor times.
