Located just a few miles to the west of Banbury, our superb country house hotel was once built in the 17th century as the Manor House of Wroxton St.Mary. The house has undergone many alterations and improvements during its long history but you will find that the original feel and character of this magnificent building is still retained. Many of the original features, oak beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces, are still visible and add greatly to its unique, timeless ambiance.
As you might expect from a building of this age, none of the rooms are identical; each one is different in size and design, and has been decorated to enhance its own special character. Although the building may be five hundred years old, the facilities we provide are state of the art, with each room having all of the features that the modern traveller expects in their choice of accommodation, including a modem link, to allow you to keep in touch with home or work via your laptop.
From our convenient location the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle are just a few of the interesting places that are only half an hours drive away.
