Standing in the shade of an Oak tree that is over 500 years old, our modern and homely establishment provides our guests with an oasis of peace and tranquillity, a small piece of paradise where they can do exactly as they please, whether they want to walk the hills and valleys enjoying the beauty of the surrounding countryside, drive around the many interesting and historic places that are nearby, or to just relax, unwind and enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality that the Oak Tree inn is renown for.
With real log fires to warm chilly evenings and pleasant and friendly staff to attend to your every need you can be certain that your stay will be an enjoyable one. We have just eight twin and double bedrooms that have all the facilities you need, with en-suite bathroom, colour TV and a wonderfully comfortable king sized bed. All rooms are quiet and peaceful and are perfect for a restful nights sleep. For the safety of all our guests all of our rooms are non smoking.
Our restaurant serves excellent Scottish and international dishes and has gained an enviable reputation for the consistent quality of the food and th service, or if you prefer something lighter our lounge bar has an extensive bar menu available throughout the day.
