One of the oldest coaching Inns in Salisbury, dating back to the 15th century, and located in the heart of the city, this charming old building is ideally located for visiting the many places of interest that this historic city has to offer, or for those who have business in the area.
You would expect a building that can trace its history back as far as this one to have a considerable history of its own, when you add your name to the guest list you will be joining the likes of the Admiral Lord Nelson, who has also enjoyed the hospitality of this establishment. Although we offer all of the modern facilities that todays traveller now expects, we have also retained much of the history and heritage of our past. As you enter the building you will notice there is a delightfully olde-worlde atmosphere, with exposed beams and brickwork from the original building. Our location in the heart of the City centre makes us an ideal base from which to explore the many interesting places that are on your doorstep, and the Cathedral; Stonehenge and Wilton House, are just a few of those that are within easy travelling distance.
We have 17 well appointed and comfortable bedrooms and a superb restaurant, where you can experience fine cuisine in relaxed and elegant surroundings. there is also a traditional bar area where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer, or just sit and relax.
We also have a separate function room that is ideal for hosting private parties, or as a conference room with full audio visual facilities and full business service support.
