This wonderful old coaching house has stood on the banks of the River Avon since the 13th century. Classical views of the Cathedral and out across the water meadows have changed little since Constable painted his famous masterpiece.
We have 28 luxuriously comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms that have all the modern facilities that are expected of an establishment of this obvious quality.
The cosy and comfortable Oak Bar is richly decorated and comfortably furnished, with an open log fire for those chilly evenings, it offers a perfect place just to relax and unwind or to sit and chat with friends while you enjoy a drink from the bar. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere the Avon bar offers a wide selection of bar meals.
The Pavilions restaurant serves an excellent menu comprising of the finest French and traditional English cuisine and an extensive selection of wines, all freshly prepared and served by our experienced and friendly staff.
We have a choice of banqueting and conference rooms that are extremely flexible in their use and can cater for special events such as weddings or private parties. If you are looking for an easy to reach venue for your companies conference or corporate event, we can cater for up to 100 delegates.
