Days out at Henley-on-Thames where you can join the Regatta crowd and watch the boats, visit nearby Maidenhead where you will find Cliveden Manor - made famous for the Profumo Affair.
Take a boat out on to the river from Newbury and along the Thames or enjoy days out at the races - Windsor, Ascot and Newbury all have regular meets.
