Our stylish dining room is the place to banquet with friends and allow our chef to delight you with his flair and creativity - sure to bring your taste buds alive accompanied by some very fine wines from our cellar.
An early morning stroll or afternoon breather in our grounds is just the ticket - allow yourself some time to think and just be, woodlands and greenery and fresh air.
Whenever you feel like adventuring further afield there are a number of attractions and sights close by. Bedford Town itself is where you can enjoy evening entertainment by way of two theatres, six screen cinema, ten-pin bowling or the laser activity centre. There are musical evening concerts at Bedford Corn Exchange and a good choice of bars and restaurants for dining out.
River life includes two markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays and pleasant walks with gardens close by. The Ceil Higgins Museum and Art Gallery is to be found next to Bedford Castle - a fine display of Victorian mansion house living with lovely pieces of ceramics, glass work and paintings.

Good stuff: Lovely quiet location. The bedroom and bathroom were huge compared to many we have stayed in.
Overall + Stuff we would like to have known: When we checked in the greeting was not particuarly friendly. We ordered a Times newspaper for the morning, but received an Express. We asked for an early morning wake-up call for the Saturday, but stressed that we didn't want it on the Sunday, however we were woken up early again on the Sunday. We ordered breakfast in our room on the Sunday, however there was not enough milk for the cereal and no butter for the croissants. All of this spoilt what would otherwise be a very nice hotel.
