 Set in the small market town of Amesbury and only 2 miles from the world famous Stonehenge ancient monument, this grade II listed building is ideally placed as a starting point from which to exploring the many interesting and exciting attractions that the area has to offer.
Our fine Georgian Town house is run by the present owners and takes great pride in providing superbly comfortable accommodation and excellent service for their guests. Only two mile from Stonehenge and eight miles from the City of Salisbury we are perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. The places of interest that are within easy reach are too numerous to list, but we can provide many guidebooks and local tourist information to help you plan your trips. Probably the most famous are Salisbury Cathedral; Stonehenge and Avebury, all are within easy travelling distance.
Although much of the house has been extensively refurbished, great care has been taken to retain many of the original features including the magnificent curved staircase and the rare internal weather vane.
All of our rooms are individually designed, decorated and comfortably furnished. All have en-suite bathroom facilities, hospitality tray (tea/Coffee) and colour TV.
There is a unique feature dinning room situated in what used to be the wine cellar, you can now choose either a continental breakfast, a freshly cooked full English or vegetarian breakfast. Whenever possible we use only the finest locally produced produce.
