Our superb hotel has been a land mark feature of the town of Uppingham for over five hundred years. Originally built as coaching Inn in the 16th century for travellers passing through the region, we have continued the noble tradition of providing much needed accommodation, ale and good food to this day. Much of the building's original charm, character and heritage has been retained, although many changes and improvements have been made over the years including a recent refurbishment to keep us up to date for the 21st century.
We have 25 superbly well proportioned and elegantly decorated single, twin and double rooms, plus a range of superior suites that have everything the you would expect to find in an establishment of this quality. A wonderful venue for weddings and private parties we can cater for 140 guest in style and comfort. We also have meeting and conferencing facilities for 4 to 60 delegates.
