of olden-day maritime life at the fascinating Waterfront Museum. One of the
most popular ways to explore this and the rest of town is to follow the
excellent Cockle Trail (named after one of the local delicacies). Helped by
over 80 plaques, you'll travel past exquisite Georgian architecture and down
quaint cobbled streets in a fun and informative history lesson that you can
take at your own pace. If you're looking to enjoy the modern town, simply
follow the signs to the Tower Park Leisure Complex instead and get ready to
enjoy the huge Splashdown water park, 30-lane bowling alley and the
